Services and Programs

The Sherborn Board of Health Offers a Number of Services and Programs to Support You!

The Sharps Disposal Kisok

Do you have used sharps in your home that you would like to dispose of safely? Visit the Sherborn Police Department and utilize the free sharps disposal kiosk. Enter the police station and located on the left-hand side, you will find the Sharps Disposal Kiosk. This service is free to all Sherborn residents and if you are in need of a new disposal container, visit the Board of Health where we will be able to provide you one at no cost.

Proper Medication Disposal

Located directly next to the sharps disposal kiosk in the Police Station is Sherborn's medication disposal. Sherborn residents are able to dispose of all any unused or expired medication properly here. It is very important to not flush your medications. The Food and Drug Administration does provide a list of medications that should be flushed if necessary, however, these medications can negatively impact the ground water supply in Sherborn and can be very dangerous. Always dispose of your medications properly.
