What is Emergency Preparedness?

Emergency preparedness refers to the seps taken to ensure safety before, during, and after an emergency or natural disaster. Region 4AB represents six core disciplines that collaborate with one another to prepare and stay prepared. Collaboration across Community Health Centers (CHCs), Emergency Management, Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Hospitals, Long Term Care, and Public Health allows us, as region members, to access a variety of resources to coordinate effective responses in the case of an emergency.
