Drone Unit

The Sherborn Fire & Rescue Department and the Sherborn Police Department formed a joint drone response team in the Fall of 2023. Two hours after the drones were in service, the SFRD responded mutual aid to Wayland for a 4-alarm fire. The SFRD drone was deployed to assist incident commanders with checking the large commercial building for potential fire spread.
