The annual observance of National Immunization Awareness Month (NAMI) highlights the importance of getting recommended vaccines throughout your life. During this month, and whenever you are able to, we encourage you to talk to your doctor, nurse, or healthcare provider to ensure that you and your family are protected against serious diseases by getting caught up on routine vaccinations.
Vaccines are especially important for children and teens. As the school year is approaching, it is important to work with your child's provider to make sure that your student is caught up on well-visits and recommended vaccines.
